The results of the visa lottery are already available for those who registered in the months of October and November of the year 2022, they can consult the results by entering www.dvprogram.state.gov, enter the requested information (the confirmation number granted in registration, your last name, your date of birth, authentication code), finally press the “Submit” button and the system will validate the data entered and inform you if you were selected.
If you or a family member registered in the visa lottery between October and November of last year (2022), you can check if you were one of the 55,000 winners, remember that applicants will not receive any notification, to see the results you will need:
1. Your Confirmation Number or Code issued at the time of your participation, mandatory requirement.
2. Your Last Name(s) as entered at the time of your participation.
3. Your year of birth in 4-digit format.
4. Authentication Code that the system shows you.

If selected, the dvlottery.state.gov website will provide visa application information for the applicant and their eligible family members. If it is not done within this time the right to the visa is lost.
If when entering your data the system gives you the result "HAS NOT BEEN SELECTED" this means that you have NOT been a winner of the Visa Lottery.
If you are selected, you will be able to apply for the visa, only during the fiscal year 2024, that is, from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024.

Remember that winning the Visa Lottery does not automatically mean obtaining United States residence.
